Mount Vernon Viaduct Replacement Project, San Bernardino CA
As DBE Program Administrator, CPM is responsible for overseeing the project's DBE compliance. This includes all outreach, technical assistance support, reporting efforts and assisting with removing all barriers keeping DBE companies from contracting on the project.
NBCUniversal Employee Campus Project, Los Angeles CA
Working with Hathaway Dinwiddie, CPM was able to exceed NBC’s diversity goals for this Project. The groups we engaged included DVBE, WBE, MBE, LGBTQ+, disabled suppliers and SVDBE companies. CPM was able to exceed these goals by holding a well-attended pre-bid event, establishing accessible office hours with Hathaway Dinwiddie and consistent communication with interested companies.
Highway 101: Santa Barbara to Carpinteria Managed Lanes Project
Granite proactively added CPM to the team pre-bid, during the pursuit phase. Knowing that both Granite and CPM were committed to the local community and engaging the public and small businesses, the team coordinated an informational session with the public before submitting their proposal response.
Granite was awarded this $450m project shortly thereafter and has engaged CPM to create a project website, social media, coordinate regular project events and to engage both the public and small businesses seeking to learn more about the project.
CMGC Highway 101 Managed Lanes (NorCal)
CPM Logistics was hired by Kiewit to assist with public and small contractor outreach and to provide project information, including assisting with bid opportunities, project notifications and contract requirements for Caltrans District 4.
Mission Rock Development Project
Working closely with Granite Construction, CPM assisted the San Francisco Giants with community and local business outreach. Services included working closely with local agencies, communities and businesses to learn more about the development program.
California High Speed Rail Authority, Construction Project 2-3, Fresno
CPM was hired by DFJV to provide support to the CAHSR’s Community Benefits Agreement (CBA). These services included supporting the project’s Public Information and Small Business Plan.
Working closely with DFJV and CAHSR staff, CPM provided support to communities and local contractors through informational processes such as outreach events, pancake breakfasts, managing the project website and social media to provide updates, road closures, bid and contract opportunities.
SAC 99 Cosumnes Bridge Replacement Project
CPM Logistics is working with Granite Construction on this $113 M project providing community and small business outreach services. The Consumnes Bridge Replacement Project is located on State Route 99, in Sacramento County, in and near Elk Grove, south of Dillard Road Overcrossing to south of Grant Line Road. The project proposes to replace four bridges, relinquish an underpass, and rehabilitate/replace the bridge deck/barrier railing.
Our services include providing project information, bid opportunities and technical assistance to the public and small businesses through the project’s website, social media, e-blasts, word of mouth and outreach events.
Isabella Lake - Phase II Dam & Spillway
CPM Logistics provided community outreach and small business consulting to Flatiron/Dragados/Sukut Joint Venture (FDS) for this project. Working with the Army Corps and FDS, CPM was able to implement processes that supported community and small contractor involvement.
BART Measure RR Outreach
CPM was brought in by BART to assist with their Measure RR public and small business outreach efforts. Our services included coordinating and facilitating outreach events, working closely with BART staff to update printed marketing materials, meeting with communities and small businesses to provide program information and bid opportunities.
Interstate 680 HOV Completion and Express Lanes
Contra Costa Transportation Authority’s Interstate 680 HOV Completion and Express Lanes project provides a continuous High Occupancy Vehicle lane on I-680 in the southbound direction between the Martinez-Benicia Bridge and the Contra Costa/Alameda County line.
CPM provides subject matter expert support to CCTA and prime contractors to successfully meet the project’s participation goals. Services include outreach and communication with primes, small businesses and the public.
California High Speed Rail Authority/Caltrans, CMGC SR 99 Realignment Project, Fresno
Granite Construction hired CPM to assist with the project’s Community Benefits Agreement (CBA) with the CAHSRA. Partnering with local communities, unions, building trades and agencies to establish a workforce development program, CPM’s project support has resulted in a targeted workforce of 60%, double the CBA requirements. CPM’s services focused on developing relationships with, and providing educational assistance to, local workers and minority/disadvantaged businesses, communities, unions, hiring agencies, and faith-based organizations.
Flatiron-Kiewit, JV (FKJV), Presidio Parkway Project, Phase 2, San Francisco
CPM was brought in as FKJV’s outreach expert for the project’s community benefits program. The Presidio Parkway Phase 2 project was the state’s largest, and only, P3-funded transportation project. CPM created and managed a successful public and small business outreach program for the project.
The 40-acre landscape effort consists of team building and design management between several agencies, FKJV and the Presidio Trust. CPM implemented organizational tools that allow for increased information flow and progress tracking.
Prime-DBE Cooperative (PDC), Oakland
Partnering with Caltrans District 4 Small Business Program, CPM addressed chronic issues facing working relationships between small and large contractors on large, transportation and infrastructure projects through the PDC. The PDC program provided by-monthly educational workshops and networking events for small contractors, encouraging better communication and responsiveness between all stakeholders. The program successfully increased contracts between it’s Prime Partners and Small Contractors by almost 40%.
Participants include Caltrans, Teichert Construction, Ghilotti Brothers, Shimmick, and Flatiron Structures.
Interstate 80/San Pablo Dam Road, San Pablo
CPM was a resource to prime contractors to successfully meet the 10% project DBE goal established by CCTA and FHWA. Services include outreach, communication with DBEs and primes, and coordination for the agency on the Interstate 80/San Pablo Dam Road Interchange Improvements.
