Members of the California Unified Certification Program (CUCP) and Business Outreach Committee (BOC) will host a FREE DBE/ACDBE Certification Workshop! This is a two-part certification workshop.
This FREE DBE/ACDBE Certification Workshop Series is to educate small, minority, and women-owned businesses how to expand their business by becoming DBE and/or ACDBE certified and offer hands-on technical assistance with the DBE/ACDBE certification application.
Future certified DBE and SBE firms are encouraged to attend! Check the eligibility requirements for DBE/ACDBE certification and view the required documents needed here.
PART ONE: GETTING STARTED - VIRTUAL EVENT

Hear from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) give an overview about the DBE/ACDBE Program. Walk through the online certification application step-by-step with the software provider of the CUCP online certification portal. Lastly, receive information about how to identify North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes applicable to your business. Get your questions answered!
PART TWO: IN-PERSON WORKSHOPS

As a follow-up to the “Getting Started” session, attend an in-person workshop for technical assistance at locations in Northern and Southern California (location selections are in the registration questions). Network with public transit and transportation agencies and resource partners to learn about upcoming contracting opportunities. Check the agenda for the location(s) you or your staff plans to attend. Specific instructions for parking and check-in at workshop locations are found in the FAQ section of the registration page. Come prepared to receive help with your application!
